n the year 2025,GMIRS has competed for the University Robotic Competition 2025 (UROCK25).

5-7 November 2025 at PICC Putrajaya.

The team secured 2nd spot in the Rope Climbing Robot presentation category, being the only institute competing with other universities

U-ROCK 2024

  In the year 2024, GMIRS has participated in the U-ROCK COMPETITION IN 2024.  The event was held at Putrajaya. GMI has sent only 1 team to participate in the rope climbing robot category. Fortunately, this time, GMI ROBOTIC SOCIETY has finally achieved to gain the third place in this category.

Robocon 2023

  In the year 2023, GMIRS has competed for the ROBOCON copetition on 10-13 JUNE 2023 at University Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang. the competition was held at Kompleks Sukan Azman Shah. The competition has required the participants to build up 2 robot. the first robot were assigned to collect the rings provided by the organiser while the other robot were assigned to shoot the ring into several poles.
