Robotic Club 2014 Review

In the year 2014, our club took a step further and got the opportunity to enter the SHELL Eco Marathon Asia hosted in Manila, Philippines. That means road trip for our club members !! It was a game changer for our club as we only made fully functional mini robots but we were required to build a full size battery electric car entirely from scratch. Other than that, we also entered the Malaysian International University Robot Competition MIROC 2014 as we did in the year 2013.

GMI Robotic Society will continue its activity in 2018 by participating in the second event of the year at UniKL MFI, competing in two categories which is Line Follower Robot and Robattle Robbot but unfortunately, the Line Follower category is cancelled by the organizer on August 2018. Robattle UniKL MFi 2019

Greetings and Guten Tag! This time we participated in a new competition at UniKL MFi which held at Perdana Hall starting on 2nd November 2019 until 3rd November 2019. Two competitions is held at the same time which is Line Following and Robot Combat. Sadly, we didn't win the robattle competition but unexpectedly we win a trophy in Best Technology category. A big applause to the team!

Robocon 2023

  In the year 2023, GMIRS has competed for the ROBOCON copetition on 10-13 JUNE 2023 at University Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang. the competition was held at Kompleks Sukan Azman Shah. The competition has required the participants to build up 2 robot. the first robot were assigned to collect the rings provided by the organiser while the other robot were assigned to shoot the ring into several poles.
